The Arizona History Museum’s focus is southern Arizona history from Spanish colonial through territorial eras. Exhibit topics include mining and transportation. The Arizona’s Treasures exhibit features Geronimo’s rifle and 18th-century Spanish silver artifacts.

 

School Tours

Students $2, teachers & chaperones (1 per 5 student) free, $2 per additonal chaperones (min 1 chaperone per 10 students). School purchase orders acceptable.

The Old Arizona Brass Band announces dates for their three performances at Ft. Lowell Park, next to the Museum, during the Band's 2011-2012 Performance Season .  This will be the second year for these performances, in cooperation with the Arizona Historical Society and the Old Fort Lowell Neighborhood Association.

Each concert will start at 2:00 PM
and will be free to the public.

The Fort Lowell Museum is located in the reconstructed Commanding Officer's quarters of Old Fort Lowell, originally established in 1873. The museum features exhibits about military life on the Arizona frontier.
